Man charged with attempted murder in Clacton

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Clacton, Essex.

The victim, a man in his 20s, is in a stable condition in hospital after he was attacked in Dudley Road on 15 March.

Daniel Yates, 40, of Araglen Avenue, South Ockendon, has been charged with attempted murder and GBH.

He is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates Court later, said an Essex Police spokeswoman.

Two other men, aged 25 and 50, from Essex, have been charged with GBH in connection with the incident.
