Gillian Andrade death: Oil rig worker murder charge

A 30-year-old oil rig worker has been charged with the murder of a woman found dead in a house in Essex.

Police called to Churchfields, Loughton, on Sunday morning found the body of Gillian Andrade, 39.

Daniel Hodges, of no fixed address, was arrested at the scene and is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

A provisional post-mortem examination revealed Ms Andrade died from a stab wound, a police spokesman said.
