A 24-year-old man has denied murdering a heavily pregnant woman who was found fatally injured in the street.

Tony McLernon, from Harlow in Essex, entered a not guilty plea to the murder of Eystna Blunnie at the Old Bailey.

Miss Blunnie, 20, was found with head and face injuries in Howard Way, Harlow, on 27 June and later died at Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Mr McLernon, who also denied causing Miss Blunnie's unborn baby to die, will go on trial on 18 February next year.
