Jamie Waters admits killing Urim Rama in Chelmsford

A 29-year-old man from Essex has admitted killing an Albanian national in Chelmsford.

Jamie Waters, from Andyk Road, Canvey Island, pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Urim Rama at Chelmsford Crown Court.

Mr Rama, 27, was assaulted in Duke Street, Chelmsford, on 19 August. He died in hospital the following day.

Waters has been remanded in custody and will return to Chelmsford Crown Court for sentencing.

He had been arrested and charged with murder but his plea of manslaughter was accepted by the judge.
