Dedham Asa Pryke to be jailed in caravans planning row

A father of three is being sent to prison for living in caravans placed without planning permission on land he claims his owned by his family.

Asa Pryke has been living in caravans in Dedham on the Suffolk/Essex border.

Colchester Borough Council said Mr Pryke does not own the land.

Mr Pryke, whose case has been going through the county court, is due to be jailed on Monday.
