Southend woman released over man's 'drugs death'

A woman arrested on suspicion of manslaughter over a "drugs death" in Essex will not face further action by police.

Anthony Collingwood, 40, died at a flat in Kursaal Way, Southend, on 31 July.

Police said his death, initially treated as suspicious, would now be referred to the Essex coroner.

A 39-year-old woman was arrested on 13 August and bailed. She has now been released from bail and would not face further charges, police added.
