A 26-year-old man has been jailed for five years for killing a man at a party in Essex.

Anton Jardin, 39, of Eastwood Road, Rayleigh, was found with severe head injuries in the back garden of a house in London Road, Chelmsford, on 19 August.

Sam Martin, of Eastwood Road, Leigh-on-Sea, was jailed after admitting manslaughter.

He was cleared of murder by a jury at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday.

The party was being held opposite the V Festival in Hylands Park.
