Milsoms restaurant champagne diners 'agree' to pay bill

Four champagne diners who racked up a £520 bill and left a restaurant without paying have agreed to settle the debt, the brasserie has confirmed.

Milsoms, in Dedham, Essex, said three men and one woman drank two £150 bottles of champagne and ate steak and lamb before leaving on 16 February.

A restaurant spokesman said someone had now come forward and offered to pay after the group were caught on CCTV.

Essex Police said no arrests had been made, but inquiries were continuing.
