Police have named a man who died after an attack in a car park.

A post-mortem examination found Liam Holden, 35, from Grays in Essex, died of head injuries.

He had been out with friends at the town's Euro Lounge on Saturday before he was allegedly assaulted in the Morrisons car park in London Road at about 02:30 GMT on Sunday.

A 21-year-old man from Grays was arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday. He is still in custody.

Mr Holden died at Queens Hospital in Romford.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
