Robbed boy left with goldfish after Dunmow carnival

Robbers stripped a 12-year-old of his shirt, jumper and shoes before leaving him holding a goldfish, police say.

The boy won the goldfish at Dunmow Carnival and was going home when he was robbed in Great Dunmow on Saturday.

Essex Police say the men, aged between 20 and 30, asked the boy for his phone but took his clothes when he said he did not have one.

He was held by the shoulders while the men took his clothes. Essex Police said the boy had been "very shaken up".
