Two school pupils hurt in a crash between two buses have been discharged from hospital.
A yellow school bus and a commercial bus collided in Epping Road, Coopersale, near Epping, on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old driver of the commercial bus remains in a critical condition at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
The two girls, from Ingatestone's Anglo European School, were treated for minor injuries.
In a letter to parents, headteachers Jill Martin and David Barrs said: "All students had been wearing seat belts including two who had received official warnings about not doing so only last week.
"All passengers sit above the collision-impact zone. This was an important factor in minimising injuries."
A woman in her 80s, who was on the passenger bus and suffered a facial injury, returned home after treatment at hospital.
