Man arrested after Essex drug death

A 56-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with the death of a man in Essex.

Jason Wyatt, 34, was found dead in his flat at Walson Way, Stansted, on 11 January in what is believed to have been a drug-related death.

Essex Police said the arrested man has been bailed until 14 April.

Post-mortem tests have been carried out but the cause of death will not be established until toxicology results are known.

Members of Mr Wyatt's family said in a statement: "Jason was a big man but with an even bigger heart and we are proud to call him ours.

"He was a devoted and protective family man who loved nothing more than spending time with his young nieces.

"Jason made a massive impact on us all and the love and respect that he showed to his family is something that will remain with us.

"Jason's death has left a huge hole in our family as well as in our hearts that will never be filled."
