Pair charged over £1m Thurrock drugs seizure

Two men have been charged with drugs offences after herbal cannabis and cocaine, estimated to be worth more than £1m, was seized by Essex Police.

Two vans were stopped on the A13 roundabout of the M25 in Thurrock on Friday.

The men, aged 53 and 23, from Ongar and Buckhurst Hill, were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of drugs.

They will appear before Chelmsford magistrates later.
