Man arrested in Essex on murder suspicion after stabbing death

An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a teenager died from stab wounds in Essex.

The male victim was found at about 11:00 GMT at a flat off Rosebery Road in Grays.

He had sustained serious knife wounds and although first aid was given to him, he was declared dead at the scene by medical staff a short time later, Essex Police said.

A man arrested at the address remains in police custody.
