Jay Whiston murder: Rhys Hennerbry jailed for affray

A teenager who admitted affray in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old, has been jailed.
Jay Whiston died after he was attacked at a party in Colchester, Essex, on 8 September 2012.
Rhys Hennerbry, 19, of Gurdon Road, Colchester, was charged with two counts of affray. The second related to an attack the previous evening.
He was convicted of the second count by a jury and was jailed for a total of three years at Chelmsford Crown Court.
Unemployed Hennerbry had been involved when a 19-year-old man was punched and kicked outside a house on St Andrew's Avenue, Colchester, on 7 September.
In the early hours of the next day, Jay, of Clacton, died of stab wounds after he was attacked in Marlowe Way.
Earlier this month, 18-year-old Edward Redman, who had denied murder, was jailed for life to serve a minimum of 17 years.
