Epping stabbing: Man arrested after High Street attack

A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after knife attack in Essex.

The man was stabbed in the chest and found collapsed in Epping High Street on Saturday about 04:25 BST.

He was taken to the Royal London Hospital where, following surgery, he is improving but remains in a critical but stable condition.

The suspected attacker, from Hackney, has been taken to Harlow police station for questioning.

Police have asked for anyone with information to contact them.
