Three more people arrested after Southend stab murder

A further three people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 24-year-old man in Essex.

The victim, believed to be from Dagenham in east London, was fatally stabbed at a flat in St Ann's Road, Southend, at 22:30 GMT on 19 November.

A 19-year-old man from Southwark in London, and two 17-year-old boys, including one from Basildon, were arrested, Essex Police said.

A 22-year-old Southend man, arrested on Thursday, is still being questioned.

Another man, 24, who was found with knife wounds at the flat, is being treated in hospital.

He is described as being in a "stable condition".

A post-mortem examination on the dead man's body will be carried out later.
