A nursery worker has been cleared of a racially-aggravated public order offence related to the treatment of children.

An investigation was launched into concerns about Abacus Day Nursery in Billericay, Essex, earlier this year, which has since been closed.

Rosie Dunn, 25, of Prower Close, Billericay, a former employee of the nursery, denied the charge against her.

She was acquitted at Basildon Magistrates' Court after a short trial.
