A post-mortem examination has proved inconclusive and further tests will be carried out to establish the cause of Mr Frampton's death, Essex Police said.

'Cruelly taken'

The family said: "We can't even begin to understand the events that took place on Saturday evening.

"A loving father, caring partner and doting granddad was taken from us far too early.

"With so much to look forward to, his life was cruelly taken away."

Police have asked for witnesses to contact them.
