Two injured in car damage dispute in Gloucestershire

Two people needed hospital treatment after being assaulted when they challenged a man they believed had been damaging vehicles.

The attack happened on Bath Road, Leonard Stanley, Gloucestershire, just after 2330 BST on Saturday night.

A woman, aged 33, suffered a broken nose and a cut to her face. A 27-year-old man had cuts to his forehead.

A 33-year-old Stonehouse man was arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed until 3 September.
