Jewellery worth £20,000 stolen from house in Thrupp

Police are investigating the theft of thousands of pounds worth of jewellery from a house in Gloucestershire.

The burglary took place at a property in Thrupp Lane, Thrupp, between 1000 and 1800 BST on 8 September.

Nearly £20,000 worth of items were stolen including a sapphire and diamond bangle valued at £3,100.

Police want to speak to the driver of a dark coloured BMW. He was described as a white man, in his 50s with long grey wavy hair and wearing a denim jacket.

Gloucestershire police ask anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
