Stonehouse and Bishops Cleeve libraries closed for work

Two libraries in Gloucestershire have been closed for maintenance and improvement work to take place.

A county council spokesman said Stonehouse Library would be shut until 11 October to allow the rotted gable end of the building to be replaced.

Self-service machines are being installed at Bishops Cleeve Library, which is shut until 13 October.

Books and other items are being given extended loan dates, and can be returned to any other county library.
