Arrests over Honeybourne Line robbery

Five teenagers have been arrested after three people were punched and robbed on a cycle path.

Two boys aged 17 and an 18-year-old man were on the Honeybourne Line in Cheltenham on 25 February when a group of males on bikes approached them.

They asked for the time and enquired whether they had drugs before hitting them and taking two phones and money.

Five males, aged between 15 and 19 from Cheltenham and Gloucester, were arrested on suspicion of robbery.

They have been released on police bail until 12 March pending further inquiries.
