Woman, 20, in Cheltenham town centre sex attack
A 20-year-old woman has been sexually assaulted in Cheltenham following a night out with friends.
Police said the woman left Lace nightclub at around 0310 GMT with a man who then attacked her in nearby Grosvenor Place South.
The attacker is described as white, in his 30s, of slim build, with short brown hair. He was wearing a blue checked shirt.
Anyone with information was urged to contact the police.
Det Insp Steve Bean said: "Officers are dedicated to locating the offender - we are examining CCTV footage and looking at all forensic evidence."
He urged people to take extra care and to take a taxi or stay with friends rather than walk home alone at night.
