Robbers threaten Cirencester shop owners with knife

The owners of a Cirencester shop were threatened with a knife by robbers who stole cash and bottles of alcohol.

Four youths wearing balaclavas entered the convenience store on Countess Lilias Road demanding money at about 1950 GMT on Thursday.

Gloucestershire Police said nobody was injured in the incident.

The robbers, who ran off towards Alexander Drive, were described as being in their late teens. One was carrying a brown leather shoulder bag.
