Boys arrested after car break-ins in Gloucester

Three teenage boys from Gloucester have been arrested after a number of car break-ins over the holiday weekend.

The three were arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle in connection with 14 alleged incidents.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesman said the boys aged 15 and 16 were arrested in the Abbeydale area of the city.

"All three were bailed to attend Gloucester Police station on 4 May," the force spokesman said.

Vehicles in Cherrington Drive, Bluebell Close, Longborough Drive, Horsley Close and Chestnut Road were targeted between 30 April and 1 May.
