Bristol man charged with sex assaults in Stroud woods

A man has been charged with sexually assaulting two young girls while they were playing in woodland in Stroud.

The 52-year-old from Fishponds, Bristol, has also been charged with exposure and possession of cannabis.

The girls, aged six and seven, were on swings in Randwick Woods on Easter Sunday when the incident happened.

He appeared before Cheltenham magistrates on Saturday and was remanded in custody to appear at Stroud Magistrates' Court on 11 May.
