Clubbers to help Gloucester police after sexual assault

Gloucester police are seeking help from clubbers a week after a serious sexual assault in the city.

Officers will be aiming to meet people in clubs and takeaways on Eastgate Street who were there in the early hours of last Thursday, 12 May.

The incident, involving a 23-year-old woman, happened in an alley next to Liberty's Bar.

A 37-year-old man has been charged with attempted rape, sexual assault and causing actual bodily harm.
