Gloucestershire police officers hurt restraining man

Two Gloucestershire police officers were injured while dealing with a public disorder incident in Stroud.

It happened outside a kebab shop on King Street at 0200 BST on Sunday.

A 27-year-old female officer suffered a minor head injury and her male colleague received a laceration to the arm while restraining a man.

A 19-year-old man, of no fixed abode, was charged with affray, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assaulting a police officer.
