Stroud teenager charged with child sex offences

A Gloucestershire teenager has been charged with inciting or causing children to engage in sexual activity and making indecent images.

James Whittard, 18, from Stroud, was arrested earlier this year.

He was bailed to appear before Cheltenham magistrates on 22 July.

The force spokesman said all of the alleged offences had been committed via the internet and that officers and social services had been working with possible victims and their families.
