Gloucester riot charge for 16-year-old boy

A teenager has been charged in connection with the Gloucester riots after he was taken to a police station by his mother.

The 16-year-old was questioned and charged with violent disorder.

He was bailed and given a curfew preventing him from entering the city at night. He will appear at Gloucester Youth Court on 22 September.

Anyone with information about the disturbances in the county is urged to contact the police.
