Water restored in Gloucestershire after pipe burst
Water has been restored to thousands of homes in Gloucestershire after they were affected by a burst main in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Twelve thousand homes and businesses in Cheltenham and Winchcombe lost their water supply for several hours after a 15in (38cm) main burst.
Six schools were also closed on Thursday as a result of the burst.
Severn Trent Water has apologised to customers for the inconvenience caused by the incident at Bamfurlong.
