Arrest over Gloscat fire during riots in Gloucester

A man has been arrested in connection with a fire at a former college building in Gloucester during the disorder which took place on 9 August.

The 42-year-old, from the city, was arrested on suspicion of arson and is being questioned by police.

Shops were looted, windows were smashed and the former Gloscat building in Brunswick Road was set on fire.

More than 40 people have now been arrested in connection with the unrest in Gloucester.
