Superdry owner to make up to 60 redundant in Gloucester

Up to 60 jobs at the Gloucestershire-based SuperGroup are at risk after it unveiled new distribution centre plans.

The company, which owns the Superdry and Cult brands, is moving its distribution operation from a site in Barnwood, Gloucester, to Brockworth.

Some £1.5m has been invested in the new premises but fewer people will be required at the Wincanton-managed site.

A spokesman said a consultation with affected employees would start on Friday and would run until 27 February.
