Tyres slashed on 22 cars in Gloucester

Twenty two cars had their tyres slashed in a night of vandalism in Gloucester.

The vehicles were parked in the Barton and Tredworth area of the city on Monday night.

The attacks happened in Brook Street, Knowles Road and Falkner Street and police described the offences as "mindless vandalism".

Ch Insp Richard Burge appealed for witnesses and said: "My sympathy goes to the victims, who have been seriously put out."
