Shots are fired at car after Gloucester robbery

Armed police shot at a car which officers believe was involved in an attempted robbery at a property in Gloucester.

The shots were fired on Painswick Road on Monday morning at the tyres of a car as officers attempted to stop it from leaving the area.

Two men, aged 28 and 33 from Gloucester, were arrested at 06:00 GMT on suspicion of conspiracy to rob.

The pair were released on bail until the end of January.
