Grange Estate bridge closes for five weeks

A bridge that links onto a major commuter road in Gloucester has closed for up to five weeks for repairs.

The Grange Estate bridge, built in the 1970s, carries Greenhill Drive one way over the A38 Southern Connector.

The road will be closed while Gloucestershire Highways install a new approach fence after part of the parapet became separated from the safety fence.

The work to prevent further movement is expected to be completed on 19 April.
