Plans to regenerate a Cotswold town centre have been submitted to the district council.

Cirencester's council wants to modernise the Market Place to attract more visitors and boost the local economy.

Mark Harris, deputy mayor of Cirencester, said it needed to be brought into the 21st Century

The plans were submitted following a consultation with 1,000 people.
