Man bailed over cyclist's death in 'hit-and-run' on Stroud Road, Gloucester

A 45-year-old man arrested on suspicion of causing the death of a cyclist in a suspected hit-and-run in Gloucestershire has been bailed.

The man was arrested on Friday on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving on the B4072.

The male cyclist, who has not been named, died in a collision with a BMW near St Barnabas church, earlier on Friday.

Gloucestershire Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
