Fourth arrest over cyclist Alan Knight's 'hit-and-run' death

A fourth man has been arrested over the death of a cyclist in a suspected hit-and-run in Gloucester.

Alan Knight, 64, was delivering papers when he died in a collision with a BMW on the Stroud Road on 26 September.

Gloucestershire Police said a 23-year-old man, from Gloucester, had been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He has been released on bail, along with the other three men, until 13 November.

Gloucestershire Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
