M5 coach crash driver to be charged
The driver of a coach carrying children that crashed on the M5, is to be charged with driving without due care and attention.
The 60-year-old from Wolverhampton was interviewed by Gloucestershire Police earlier this week and was reported for summons to court, a spokesman said.
The coach, carrying 53 people, had been taking a group of youngsters from a children's centre in Sandwell on a trip to the beach in Weston-super-Mare.
Nobody was seriously injured.
The crash happened close to junction 13 for Stroud on 19 August.
No court date has yet been set.
