Man charged over cannabis raid in Portsmouth

A man has been charged with the production of cannabis after police discovered about 300 plants in a house in Portsmouth.

Police were called to a property in Medina Road, Paulsgrove, on Thursday afternoon, to reports of a burglary.

They said the house had allegedly been used to grow cannabis with a street value of nearly £100,000.

A Vietnamese man, aged 28, was later arrested and charged.
