Boy knocked down and seriously injured in Havant crash

A 11-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries when he was knocked down by a motorcyclist in Hampshire.

The boy was hit by the motorbike in Southleigh Road, Havant, on Friday afternoon.

The boy, who is from the Havant area, is being treated in intensive care at Southampton General Hospital, where he is in a serious but stable condition.

The road was closed for several hours. Police are appealing for witnesses.
