Fareham rider dies as horse bolts and collides with car

A horse rider has died after being flung from the animal when it galloped out of control and collided with a passing car.

The accident happened at 1615 GMT on Tuesday in Fleet End Road, Warsash, Hampshire.

Linda Harding, 59, from Fareham, was riding her horse Flumpy along a bridleway when it bolted and collided with the rear of a passing car.
