Fleet post van crash pedestrian named

A pedestrian who died when she was hit by a Royal Mail van as it crashed into the front of a shop has been named.

Kulsatree O'Neill, 36, from Troon, South Ayrshire, died from multiple injuries at the scene of the crash in Fleet, Hampshire, on Tuesday lunchtime.

The crash happened outside the Marie Curie Cancer Care shop in Fleet Road, near the junction of Victoria Road.

A 48-year-old man arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving was released on bail.

An inquest was opened at North East Hampshire Coroner's Court and adjourned until July.

Royal Mail said it was working with police as part of the investigation.
