Fire crews tackle Portsmouth warehouse blaze
More than 80 firefighters have been dealing with a blaze at an industrial estate in Portsmouth.
Crews from Southsea, Cosham and Havant stations were called to the fire at the Airport Industrial Estate at about 19:50 BST on Friday.
Specialist equipment including an aerial ladder platform were used to tackle the fire at the 40m by 20m (131ft by 66ft) building.
Fire crews were still at the scene on Saturday, making the area safe.
Group manager Tony Deacon said the fire was "well developed" when crews arrived.
"Due to the swift action the crews were able to prevent any significant spread to nearby businesses," he added.
About 90% of the timber and tin building was damaged by the blaze, the fire service said.
