Hampshire A3 crash motorcyclist named by police
A motorcyclist who died in a crash on the A3 in Hampshire on Friday has been named.
Alan Hellyer died when his bike collided with a Vauxhall Astra near the Queen Elizabeth Country Park, near Buriton, on Friday evening.
The 55-year-old from Havant suffered head injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the car, a 22-year-old woman from Havant, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and bailed.
She and her passenger, a 31-year-old man from Waterlooville, were uninjured.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the collision, which happened on the southbound carriageway at about 20:10 BST.
