Portsmouth ferry port drugs seizure arrest

A man has been arrested in connection with a drugs haul, with an estimated street value of £450,000, in Hampshire.

The drugs, thought to be cannabis, were seized at Portsmouth ferry port on 4 September.

A 63-year-old British man from North Yorkshire has now been arrested and bailed until January.

UK Border Agency officials found the haul in an articulated lorry after it disembarked a ferry which had arrived from Caen in France.
