Eynsham Road work to cause 'severe' disruption in Oxford

Work to repair one of the main routes into Oxford is likely to cause "severe congestion", according to Oxfordshire County Council.

Resurfacing work to the Eynsham Road is to repair damage caused by the bad weather over recent winters.

Sewers along the road are also due to be upgraded as part of a £7m scheme to prevent flooding in the area.

The resurfacing work between Farmoor roundabout and the A420 Cumnor bypass is due to continue until 28 October.
