Fareham car crash woman dies in hospital
An elderly woman has died after a being injured in a car crash in Hampshire.
Hilda Cubberley, 79, from Wickham, Fareham, was hurt in the collision on the A32 at Droxford on Friday evening.
She was the front seat passenger in a Rover which collided with a Volvo at about 17:50 GMT.
Police said she was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, but died on Saturday afternoon. The road was closed for five hours after the crash.
The 75-year-old driver of the Rover was seriously injured but his condition is not described as life-threatening.
The driver of the Volvo, from Soberton, Southampton, was not hurt.
Hampshire Constabulary is appealing for witnesses to the incident.
